Laurent Boccara, 52, passed away on Tuesday, February 12, 2002.

He was a devoted husband, a wonderful neighbor and a loyal friend. He was born in Tunis, Tunisia on June 7, 1949, to Lucien and Zizette Boccara.
.
He was a man of many gifts, a courageous and vulnerable artist who was a tireless worker, a dedicated educator, an ever-vocal advocate for healing and the possessor of a spirituality smoldering always toward humanity.
.
His was a life of tireless striving toward enlightenment and understanding. He will be truly missed.
.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Zizette Boccara.
.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra and daughter, Nicole; "adopted" son, Seth Cash; father, Lucien Boccara; sister, Fabienne Gerson and husband, David; niece, Judith Gerson; nephew, Emanuel Gerson and wife, Isabel, and great nieces Julie and Sara.
.
His spirit and his passion for life will endure forever with his brothers and sisters-in-laws: Sam and Charlotte Axelrad, David and Carolyn Axelrad; nieces and nephews, Randy Axelrad, Larry Axelrad, Evan and Stanley Axelrad, Christopher Axelrad, Larry and Cuqui Baum, Ann Axelrad, Jonathan and Julie Axelrad, Erin Axelrad, Elyse Rosen, and David and Lauri Sack; great-nephews: Ryan Sack and Evan Sack.

Graveside Services will be held on Friday, February 15, 2002 at 1:00 P.M. at the Adath Israel Cemetery, 4700 Airline, Rabbi Jack Segal, Rabbi Joseph Radinsky and Cantor David Propis, officiating.
