Living with her were Joshua, age eighteen, whose occupation is shown as farmer; and George S. age twelve, both born in Kentucky. Her husband, Henson, died sometime between 1838, the date of the birth of their last child and 1850, the time of this census.

Margaret Stout Rush migrated to Missouri sometime between 1850 and 1855 with three sons and one daughter and several members of the Loveall family. The Rush and Loveall family intermarried.

The 1860 Missouri census, Miller County, Jim Henry Township registers, Margaret Rush, 57, in the household of her daughter, Amanda Jane, 23, and husband Steven 30, and their two children, Margaret 5, and George 1.

The 1880 census for Miller County, Missouri, Jim Henry Township, registers Margaret Rush 77. Also in the household is her granddaughter, Mary Sweeney, 25 and her two daughters, Mary Sweeney 8, and Victory J Sweeney 6.

No definite records of Margaret's burial other than family information. Several field stones surround the rough stone Loveall marker and are presumed to be grave markers for Stephen Loveall, his wife Amanda Jane Rush Loveall, their daughter Mary Margaret Loveall Sweaney Mertel, and Amanda's mother Margaret Stout Rush.

Margaret Stout was the great-great-great-great granddaughter of Penelope Van Princis Stout who was known as living to be 110 years of age after a brutal attack as a young woman by Indians as she and her husband set shore in America from the Netherlands. Many stories have been written about her.

Margaret's parents were James Abel Stout and Abigail Holloway; his parents were Abel Stout and Willimpy Wyckoff; his parents were James Stout and Jemina Howell Reeder; his parents were James Stout and Catherine Simpson; his parents were David Stout and Rebecca Ashton; his parents were Richard Stout and Peneople Van Princis; his parents were John Stout and Elizabeth Bee.
