Died---At his home about 2 miles northwest of Cedar Vale at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, December 12th, 1894, of gall stones in the bladder and pneumonia, Emanuel Zimmerman.
Mr. Zimmerman was born 1848 and was 46 years old when he died. He, with his family moved to Kansas in 1870 and located in this neighborhood in '71 where they have resided ever since. Mr. Zimmerman was, up to three weeks ago, in apparent height of health and strength, but was taken down with intense pain and agony which continued until he died. He leaves a wife and two daughters besides hosts of other near and dear friends to mourn his loss. The remains were laid away to rest in the Cedar Creek Cemetery on Thursday afternoon.
