After Elizabeth Wolfgang died Jacob married Angelina Slagle Shreffler. She had been married to Jacob Shrefler who was killed in the Civil War leaving her a widow with 6 children. On August 29, 1865 Jacob married Angelina, she died 1916 and is buried in the Hawthorn Cemetery.
