Enos McKee was born in the Town of Clinton Vernon Co. Wis. Feb. 14 1886, where he grew to manhood. He was united in marriage to Mattie Wirtz May 4th, 1911. To this union two children were born, Willie aged 4 years and Floyd aged 2 years. He died at his home in La Farge, Feb. 1, 1916, aged 29 years, 11 months and 17 days. He leaves to mourn his early death his wife and two children, a mother, for brothers Ervine, Robert, Riley and Eugene, and three sisters, Mrs. Cora Young, Mrs. Mary Fish, and Mrs. Lydia Collins. The funeral service was conducted by Rev. W. P. Burrows in Salem Ridge church Feb. 3 and the remains laid to rest in the cemetery near by.
