Funeral services for Miss Ada Howell, 84, of Rte 1, Danville, who died last
Wednesday in the Ebenezer Convalescent Home following a long illness, where held
Thursday afternoon at the Lucy Chapel Methodist Church. The services were
conducted by the Rev. C.S. Easom and the Rev. William Elsberry. Burial was in
the Church Cemetery.

Miss Howell was born in Twiggs County the daughter of the late Mitche and Anna
Rebecca Mason Howell and has lived in Bleckley County most of her life. She was
a member of the Lucy Chapel Methodist Church. She is survived Mitch Howell of
Danville, three sisters, Mrs. Nancy Padgett, Mrs. Sillar Sapp and Mrs. C.R.
Evans, Sr. all of Cochran. Also a number of nephews and nieces survive Miss Howell.

The Pallbearers were Jackie Howell, Tommie Allen Jr, Zelner Padgett, John G.
Sapp, Johnnie Lee Evans and Willie Cranford. Fisher Funeral Home was in charge
of arrangements.
