Mrs. Isaac B. Punneo died at her home one and one-half miles north of Garrett, Douglas Co., IL, Friday morning, June 8th, 1906, age 28 yrs., 3 months and 20 days.

Mrs. Punneo with her husband united with the church of Christ in 1895 at Summum, Illinois. She was a devoted wife and mother and leaves to mourn her loss, a heart-broken husband, five children, four sons and one daughter, the eldest aged 11 years, and the youngest an infant son 8 days old.

She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Arnold, of Astoria, IL, making her home most of the time with her deceased aunt, Mrs. John Howard, of Astoria, and was united in marriage to Isaac B. Punneo, March 16, 1893.

She was laid to rest in a beautiful grove in the Hickorywith cemetery, Rev. Strevery, of Garrett, officiating. Funeral services were conducted at the cemetery, where a suitable building is provided with seats.

The beautiful white casket was almost loaded down with flowers as it was carried through the grove followed by the heart-broken family and a long procession of friends.

Hickorywith cemetery is located 6 miles north of Garrett in a beautiful grove, on a bluff overlooking the Okow river.
