"Silver City's 'underworld' spanned along Jordan Street in the vicinity of Long Gulch... The queen married Ace Williams, and Lee Perry who had moved in during the Trade Dollar mine boom in the 1890s, occupied her house. Lee Perry was the idol of Jordan Street. Noboby knew for sure what became of her diamonds when she died. To show their esteem for Lee, her admirers buried her near and to the left of the gateway to the Ruby City Cemetery. She was buried under her real name, Lillian Brown. [Mildretta Adams, Sagebrush Post Offices: A History of Owyhee Country (1986), p 38)
