Florence Catherine Good, 72, of Dayton, died at 8:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 10, 1984, at her residence. Born Feb. 4, 1912 in West Mahoning Township, Indiana County, she was a daughter of Charles Henry and Margaret Ann (Irwin) Stear. A housewife, she was a member of the Dayton United Methodist Church, the Dayton United Methodist Women; the Dayton V.F.D. and the Dayton Valley Kampers. She lived in Dayton 43 years. She married Clair Emerson Good April 2, 1927. He survives her as does one son, Robert E. Good of Smicksburg RD1; two daughters, Mrs. Duane (Mary Jane) George of Kittanning RD5 and Mrs. Jack (Betty Ann ) Lockhart of Dayton; one sister, Mrs Otto (Ruth) Fetterhoff of St. Petersburg, FL, 14 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister. The funeral will be held Monday, Feb. 13, 1984 at 1 p.m. at the Frank O. Bly Funeral Home, Dayton. The Rev. Jay P. Cook will officiate.
