Funeral services for Mrs. Reba Maricle Johnson will be at 11a.m. on Saturday, July 19, 2008 at Freedom Baptist Church, Pitkin with Wayne Squyres, Arlen Smith, Jeff James and Brad Perkins officiating. Interment will follow in Union Hill Cemetery under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale.
Mrs. Johnson, 75, of Union Hill, entered eternal rest on Thursday, July 17, 2008 in her residence surrounded by her loving family.
Mrs. Johnson was a member of Freedom Baptist Church and a lifelong resident of Union Hill. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, quilting and especially cooking for her family. She was dearly loved by family, friends and the community, and was a wonderful mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, D.C. Johnson and one brother, Marvis Maricle.
Those left to cherish her memory include four sons and daughters-in-law, Johnny and Mary Johnson of Cravens, Jack and Pat Johnson of Union Hill, Ronnie and Debbie Johnson of Pitkin, and David and Mickey Johnson of Union Hill; nine grandchildren, Nicole Rogers, Kevin Johnson, Tiffani Cloud, Kris Johnson, Nikki Perkins, Jake Johnson, Josh Johnson, Lacy Johnson, and Lindsay Johnson; six great grand children, Luke Rogers, Morgan Johnson, Morgan Rogers, Parker Cloud, Brycen Cloud and Kale Cloud; two brothers, Hartford Maricle, Jr. of Sugartown and Carvis Maricle of Pitkin; two sisters, Betty Walker of Del Rio, Tennessee and Joann Johnson of Garland, Texas; one aunt, Myrtle Johnson of Pitkin and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers honored to serve will be her grandsons.
Friends may call at Freedom Baptist Church, Pitkin on Friday, July 18, 2008 from 5p.m. until 11p.m. and on Saturday, July 19, 2008 from 8a.m. until time of services at 11a.m.
