He was born May 9, 1903 in Shreveport, Louisiana and died July 29, 1984 in Los Angeles California. He was a World War II Veteran and worked for Western Electric in California. He attended schools in Boley and Muskogee, Oklahoma. Mr. Carter was married to Azelee Henderson in Arizona in 1951. Survivors include Azelee, his wife of the home; and many nieces and nephews.
