Mrs. Andrews, wife of Professor T. B. Andrews, died at her residence on Decatur street on Monday after a long painful illness. She had been confined to her room for nearly three months preceding her death. The interment took place at the cemetery on Tuesday, services having been held at the Methodist church.
Professor T.B. Andrews began teaching at North Texas Baptist College in the fall of 1891, the first year of the college. He completed two terms and left in the summer of 1893 hoping to return to place a tombstone at his wife's grave, he never returned.
