Tom Cannon, 62, of 911 South Sixth street, died in a Waco hospital Friday at 12:40 p.m. Funeral services will be held from the residence at 4 p.m. Saturday. Rev. J. M. Lawson officiating, burial in Oakwood cemetery. Compton's in charge. Pallbearers will be W. E. Ballard, J. W. Smith, Lester Ivey, F. H. Shott, Stone Cormany and W. Johnson.
Surviving are the widow, four sons; Thomas, M. D., Roger and Wallace Cannon, all of Waco, three daughters; Mrs. C. G. Garland of South Plains, Misses Valerie and Olga Ruth Cannon of Waco, three brothers; Earnest of Waco, Lee of Clifton and Noble of Bruceville, a sister, Mrs. Stone Cormany of Clifton.
Mr. Cannon had resided in or near Waco all his life.
