He was born in Monticello April 25, 1914, son of Martin and Della Decker Day. He was married to Helen Berger Day.
He was a member of Monticello Masonic Lodge F and AM 508 and a member of the Presbyterian Church, Monticello.
He is survived by his widow; two daughters, Mrs. Nancy Catalano and Miss Linda Ellen Day, both of Monticello; three sisters, Mrs. Alice Nolan of Monticello, Mrs. Mary Eury of Rochester, and Mrs. Evelyn Nusser of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio; one brother, Fred Day of Brooklyn; and one grandson.
Masonic services will be today at 8 p.m. from the Van Inwegen Funeral Home, Monticello. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 in the Presbyterian Church, Monticello, with the Rev. Dr. William A. Crawford officiating.
Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Matamoras, Pa.
