Long-Time Resident Passes Away Sunday Morning.
Abraham Lucas, a Civil War veteran and resident of this city for many years, died Sunday morning at 7 o'clock at a local hospital after a short illness, at the age of 89 years. Mr Lucas came to this country with his parents in 1850 and has lived here for 76 years. Funeral services will be held from the Findesen and Greiser undertaking Parlors on Tuesday at 2 o'clock with the Rev. T. D. Williams officiating. Burial will be in Fort Howard. Mr Lucas is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Charles Penrod of Duluth, three sons, Abe Lucas, and Dan Lucas of Milwaukee; James Lucas Houghton, Mich,; twelve grand children and 22 great grand children. Among the out-of-town relatives who will attend the funeral will be Mr. and Mrs. Charles Penrod, Duluth, Mr. and Mrs, A. Lucas, and daughter, Mrs. F. R. Ellsworth and her daughter Virginia, Mr. and Mrs. Dan A. Lucas of Milwaukee and Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Lucas of Houghton, Mich
