Woman Dies of Exposure

Authorities said Monday that an elderly woman whose body was found here Sunday died of exposure.
Mrs Bertha Klitzke, 86, a resident of this vicinity since 1910, apparently left her apartment Saturday night in 20 below weather investors said.
Funeral services for Mrs. Klitzke were held here Tuesday under the direction of the Skroch Funeral Home.
Bertha Meyers was born Sept. 13, 1881, in Holstein, Iowa. She was married to Emil Klitzke in 1904. The couple farmed in Moody county from 1910 until his death in 1951. Since that time, she had lives in California and Flandreau.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. C.N. Brough, Fresno, Calif.; A son, Kermit, Flandreau; six grandchildren' a great-grandchild and seven brothers and sisters, including Mrs W. J. Bennett, Flandreau.
