Jonathan Carley. Born 1757 in Wilton, Fairfield, CT., to
Abraham Carley (1732-1758) and Susannah Jackson (1731-1804.) He married Jenny
Gray (1758-?) in 1780 in Fredricktown, Dutchess, NY. Here is a personal note I
collected along the way.

Johnathan Carley hero of the battle of White Plains in the revoultionary War.
Sustained 19 musket balls through his body and clothes which crippled him for
