Margaret Blades was the daughter of Luke and Catherine Osborne. She married Burrel Banister on 9 July 1799 in Abbeville co., South Carolina.
Info from TBarfield - I wanted to let you know in my family research, I have learned that Marget's mother was Mary Ann Catherine (Osborn) Hackleman Blades (Memorial#57127865). Mary Ann's first husband, Johann Jacob Hackleman had a mother with the maiden name Sailors. Also, Mary Ann Catherine Osborn had a sister named Fanny Osborn who married a Sailors. The families were closely related, but Mary Ann Catherine was an Osborn, not a Sailors. She first married Hackleman, and then Luke Blades
Information from Carol Guinn Jenkins (47007536) - This picture is NOT our Margaret Blades Banister. This is a picture taken in England of the wife of some famous Banister. Also as some say, Catherine Osborn Blades is not the same woman who married a Hackelman--they are sisters. My ancestor is Catherine Osborn Blades and she did NOT marry a Hackelman.
