OBIT: Pamela K. (Anderson) Braden,was born near Covington, KY, May 15,1817 and died in Greensburg on Jan.21,1901 at age 83 years. She was the third of a family of four children of Joseph and Phoebe (Griffing) Anderson, the other three, Thomas, Jeremy and Mrs Haden Cartwell having long since
passed on. She came with her parents to Rush Co, Ind in 1825, settling near New Salem, two years later moved to Franklin Co., Ind, her father laid out the town of Andersonville, her mother died when she was 13 years old. In 1835 she moved to Clarksburg to live with her brother Thomas. She married Robert Braden on Dec.18,1838. He died Oct.10,1887. They had six children, two died in infancy, Joseph H. of Rossville, Ill, Jeremy A., Luther D. and Mrs T.A. Shirk still survive. She was laid to rest in South Park Cemetery...
