Eva Lea Leach Hejl, beloved wife and mother, passed away on February 12, 2010. Eva Lea was born in Austin, Texas on February 27, 1924, to Lillie Booth Thomason and Lee Thomason.
Eva Lea is survived by her beloved husband, Walter Hejl; son, Garland Shelton and wife, helen; daughter, Cynthia Leach and husband, Pablo Ruiz; son, William Leach, Jr. and wife, Teresa; daughter, Janet Leach; grandchildren, Grant Shelton, Natalie Seymour, Pablo E. Ruiz, Rafael Ruiz, Britani Strickland, Rebecca Hunt, Matthew Adams and Elizabeth Fletcher, and nine great-grandchildren.
Eva Lea dearly loved her family and home. She was a generous hostess and enjoyed entertaining on any occasion. She was also a very devoted and hard working employee at every job she undertook.
Funeral services Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 3208 Exposition Blvd. with burial to follow at Oakwood Cemetery Annex.
