Marietta, OK — Services for Loretta Mae Hilton of Marietta, Okla., will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2010, in Marietta's Eastside Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Turner officiating, assisted by Keith Decker.
Interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery, Marietta, under the direction of Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Marietta.
Mrs. Hilton was born Nov. 9, 1927, in Payson, Okla., the daughter of Faye Patrick and Pearl Loreta Sims Decker. She passed away Sunday, Feb. 14, 2010 in Mercy Memorial Health Center, Ardmore, Okla., at the age of 82.
Mrs. Hilton had been a resident of Marietta since 1954, moving here from Geary, Okla. She and James Newt Hilton were married Jan. 10, 1948, in Geary, and he preceded her in death on Nov. 20, 1989. A homemaker, Mrs. Hilton enjoyed working outside in her flower gardens, sewing, painting, playing dominoes and working puzzle books. She especially enjoyed visiting with family and friends. Mrs. Hilton was a member of the All Faith Rose Assembly in Marietta.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; son, Larry Dale Hilton; two granddaughters, Amy Hilton and Christi Hilton; and a sister, Juanita Hembree.
Survivors include four sons and daughters-in-law, Donald Ray and Paula Hilton, Charles and Donna Hilton and Ronnie Hilton, all of Marietta, and Johnny Lee and Brenda Hilton of Thackerville, Okla.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Norm Wimpee and Beverly and Roy D. Henderson of Marietta; a brother and sister-in-law, James Joseph and Billie Jean Decker of Blair, Okla.; five sisters and brothers-in-law, June and Bill Lawerance of Harrah, Okla., Patricia Caylor of Altus, Okla., Joyce Teran of Marietta, Deloris Allen of Oklahoma City, and Gladys and Kendal Buckner of Blair; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Serving as bearers will be Jeff Sauerberg, Bruce Callen, Sam Miller, Bob Sauerberg, Omar Ramirez and Bo Henson. Honorary bearers are McDonald Moore, Ray Elliott, Corkey Elliott, Rickey Elliott and Manuel Ortega.
