Rites Conducted for Boerjan, St. Ansgar
St Ansgar: Funeral rites were held Tuesday morning at 10:30 at the St. Ansgar Catholic Church for August Boerjan who died unexpectedly Saturday at his home here. He was born May 12, 1872, in Lambecke, Belgium. He has lived on a farm in this community for many years, retiring to St. Ansgar in 1951.
Survivors include his invalid wife and seven children; Mrs. Mel Taets and Frank of Osage; Mrs. Abel heitland of Rockford; and George; Ben; John and Henry of St. Ansgar, one sister and two brothers. Burial will be in the City Cemetery.
