The following Oct 1923 obituary saved by family does not contain the name of the paper. "Maria Llewellyn McIntyre Hower died 9th October 1923. "The first funeral conducted by the Spiritualist Church in Wilmington was that of Mrs Maria Hower at her late home, 2209 Market Street on Friday afternoon. It was a simple but impressive service. A quartet of ladies from the Spiritual Church sang "Beautiful Rest" Mrs Ellen M. Goff, licentiate, read the Scripture and gave a pleasing address. Miss Alma Jarrell sang "The Rosary". The service was concluded with the Lord's Prayer and the benediction. Interment was in Silver brook Cemetery. Mrs Hower died Tuesday October 9th 1923 pneumonia causing her death. She was born in Pittsburgh Pa., coming to this city 15 years ago. Her parents were Mr. Mrs. Enoch Llewellyn who came to this country from Wales, England. The deceased was a member of the daughters of Pocahontas. She is survived by her husband Robert Hower, one son Thomas Mclntyre: eight sisters, Mrs. Harry Vah, if Pittsburgh Pa., Mrs. William Macdonald, of Struthers, Ohio, Mrs. Mary Dunn, of Chicago: Mrs. Rebecca Walker, of Chicago: Mrs. Ada Vaughan, of Granite City Illinois: Mrs. Sarah Catley, of Weirton W.Va.: Mrs. Elizabeth Hodge, of Granite City Illinois: and Mrs Kate Reichenbaugh, of Erie Pa: and two brothers, Enoch Llewellyn of California: and Aden Llewellyn of Warren Ohio."
Note: Penybont3 (#48866366) pointed out "you have in your Obituary that Enoch came from Wales England. Wales is a country in its own right it is just a part of the U, K, a lot of people make the mistake of saying England when they should look it up."
Her PA death certificate says she died in Chester Co., PA.
