Margaret was my maternal great great grandmother. She was married the first time to a James Knox Polk Fulkerson who was killed at Vicksburg during the Civil War. They had one child, Mary Catherine Fulkerson. Her second marriage was to Rufus King Watkins, who is my great great grandfather. They divorced later.

Margaret's paternal line is through Samuel Bruner who is a descendant of the Bruners of Schifferstadt, in Frederick Co., Maryland.

Her maternal great grandmother was Osiller Allison, born 1768 in Frederick Co., Maryland.
