Mrs. Jennie E Rearick, 66, Distant, died at 12:30 pm yesterday (July 26, 1960) in Brookville Hospital.
Mrs. Rearick was born May 20, 1894 in Distant, a daughter of Samuel B Cathcart 1856- and Mary C Houser Cathcart. Mary C was the daughter of George and Elizabeth (Serene) Houser of Wayne Township, Armstrong County.

Surviving are her husband, Scott L Rearick; three sons, Sol W of Harrisbsurg, Ray C of Buffalo, New York and Tom S of Distant; three daughters, Mrs. Thomas (Grace) Rees of Niagara Falls, New York, Mrs. Russell (Nola) Colwell of Distant and Mrs. Robert (Mary Jane) Chapman of New Orleans, Louisiana; 17 grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews; three sisters, Mrs. J P (Maude) Hetrick of Distant, Mrs. Merle (Laura) Barnett of Baxter and Mrs. S B (Annabelle) Yount of Shippenville and two brother, Charles Cathcart of Alcola and Lawrence Cathcart of Climax.
Friends will be received at the Alcorn funeral home, Hawthorn from 2 to 4 and 7 to 10 pm. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Friday in First Church of God, Distant, Rev. Jack Winland will officiate.
Burial will be made in Distant cemetery.
