Mrs. Catherine Beck, age 81, of 126 McCollum ave., Galesburg, died at 9 a. m. Monday, October 10, at Verderies Nursing Home, Kalamazoo. She was born July 4, 1865 in Hamburg Germany, the daughter of M., and Mrs. David Vogel. She came to Kalamazoo at the age of 17 where she made her home in Kalamazoo county and Galesburg the rest of her life. She was married to Millard Beck. December 25, 1887. Mr. Beck preceded her in death. Mrs. Beck is survived by 5 sons. Charles Beck, Galesburg, Fred and Albert Beck, Kalamazoo, John Beck, Delton and Frank Beck, Urbandale, 5 daughters. Mrs. Emma Ramsdell, Kalamazoo. Minnie Westrick, Chicago, Mrs. Ella Newton. Galesburg. Mrs. Catherine. Edgett, Battle Creek, Mrs. Margaret Sterns, Galesburg. 25 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at Wagar and Clark chapel, Galesburg on October 12 at 2 p. m. with Rev.
