She received her formal education in the Ellis County Public Schools.Early in life, she united with the Austonia Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Isaac Green and Rev. R.L. Wingham.On September 17, 1937, Carde Williams married Harvey Amos Jones. She is the mother of 10 children: Harvey, Ethelene, Louis, N.H., Dollie, Betty, Francell, Paul, Cardeen, and Freddy Jones.Carde Williams Jones united with the St. John Baptist Church in Avalon, Texas where she served faithfully. She was also a member of the Order of Eastern Star.
