Born in Stanly Counry, she was the daughter of the late Mitchell Brown and Elizabeth Carpenter Brown.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Donathan, and sons Ronnie and Waylon Donathan.
She is survived by daughters Donna Holt and husband' Mike, Beverly Corley and husband James and Marian Shaw and husband Raymond, all of Sanford; daughter-in-law Vickie Cummings; and six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Monday at Tramway' Baptist Church with the Rev. Scott Wilson and the Rev. Ralph Baker presiding. A burial service will follow at Grace Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home at 6 p.m. today.
