Geneva Anderson Wynne, 83, of Heartland in Beckley, formerly of 801 Hale Ave., Princeton, died Thursday, March 4, 2010 at her residence. Born August 7, 1926 in Princeton, she was the daughter of the late Walker Grady Anderson & Lena Dangerfield Anderson. Geneva was a graduate of Princeton High School and Concord University with a Bachelor Of Science Degree in Education. She was a retired teacher with Mercer County School System last teaching at Princeton High School and was a member of Kappa Delta Gamma Education Sorority serving as past president. She was also a member of the First United Methodist Church in Princeton. In addition to her parents, her husband, James Buford Wynne preceded her in death. Survivors include two sons, Stephen Wynne & wife, Mary of Kissimmee, FL and Joseph Wynne & wife, Pamela of Beckley. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m., Saturday, March 6, 2010 at the George W. Seaver Chapel of Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton with Rev. Michael King officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Park Cemetery in Princeton. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Friends may call at the funeral from 1 p.m. until the service hour on Saturday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 1200 Quarrier St. Suite 4, Charleston, WV 25301. Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton is serving the Wynne family.
