EILEEN WALLIN "Wally" GRABER, 93, widow of John M. Graber, died at The Highlands of Memphis on March 3, 2010. Wally was born in Stromsberg, NE, attended nursing school in Chicago and was a pediatric nurse for 40 years at John Gaston Hospital, Baptist Hospital (Madison Ave.) and Le Bonheur Hospital. Wally was a member of First Presbyterian Church. She lived in the Berclair neighborhood for 55 years. She leaves one sister, Darlene "Dolly" Wezdenko and her husband, Ray of Glendale, AZ; her son, Thomas Graber of Germantown; and daughter, Debra Eileen Staten of Cordova; two grandsons and two great-grandsons. Wally had many devoted and loving nieces and nephews who visited from around the country. A special thanks for so much assistance goes to her friend at The Highlands (previously Wesley Highland Nursing Home), Georgia and two prior nurses, Carolyn Miller and Linda. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday, March 8 at Memphis Funeral Home Poplar Chapel, with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. The family requests any memorials be sent to First Presbyterian Church or charity of your choice.
