She married Arnold Niemoth on June 5, 1928. He preceded her in death on May 2, 1966.
Survivors of the immediate family include a daughter and son-in-law, Eurdis and Richard Willis of Grand Island.
Other survivors include several nieces and nephews.
As a young child, she moved with her family to Dannebrog, where she grew up and received her education. She also attended a rural school near Dannebrog. She was confirmed in 1934 at St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Grand Island.
She and her husband, Arnold, farmed in the Grand Island area and near Arnold. After moving back to Grand Island, she worked at the Fairmont Creamery during WWII. She was the secretary-treasurer for the Hall County Mutual Life Insurance Co. for 26 years. She also worked for Howard School for eight years in the lunch department.
She was a member of St. Pauls Lutheran Church and the Grand Generation Center. She enjoyed gardening and ceramics, and watching Nebraska football. She loved people, especially children.
She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Anna Mickelsen and Ethel Bennet, and three brothers, Edgar, Albert, and Filmore Bennet.
