The discovery at Grammeni of the tombstone of Tiberius Claudius Maximus, the captor of Decebalus the Dacian king, confirms a famous scene on Trajan's collumn. Fir this and other feats he was awarded the torques and armillae. Though unmentioned, nor shown, it is very likely that this was not the extent of his decorations.
