After suffering for many years from cancer, Sarah Ann Churches died yesterday morning at St. Josephs hospital. She had reached the age of 53 years at the time of her death, and was a daughter of John Churches the pioneer ranchman of Ralston creek. Miss Churches came to this county with her parents in 1862 , they having crossed the plains at that time to take charge of a dairy and ranch on Ralston creek for A . M. DeFrance. Both Miss Churches and her father were strong and enthusiastic workers in the Grange, being charter members of the old Ralston Grange, which was consolidated with Enterprise Grange No. 25. Deceased was confirmed in the Golden Episcopal church when she was sixteen years old, and the funeral services will be held at that church this afternoon at two oclock.
