He was retired as a Truck Driver. Mr. Butler is preceded in death by his wife, Pansy Butler; mother, Ida C. Butler; father, B. W. Butler; 4 brothers; 1 sister; grandson, Mark Olson. He is survived by his son, Al Butler (Dianne) of Lawrenceville, GA; daughter, Regina Olson (Andy) of Waynesboro, MS; 5 grandchildren, Traci LaVernway (Mike) of Lawrenceville, GA, Lisa Cowan (Shannon) of Loganville, GA, Sonny Butler of Stone Mountain, GA, Todd Olson (Tammy) of Waynesboro, MS Paul Olson of Woodland Park, CO; 8 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren. Visitation for Mr. Butler will be held from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Friday, October 20, 2017 in the Parlor of Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS 39367. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, October 20, 2017 from the Chapel of Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro with Dr. Andy Olson and Rev. James Murphy officiating. Interment will be in White House Cemetery in Waynesboro.
