Funeral services for Sara E. Ramsey, 75, beloved Klamath Falls matron, resident of this city for 74 years and a native Oregonian, will be held from St. Pauls Church.
Mrs.Ramsey died in Rocky Point at the summer home of her sister.
She was born December 26, 1882, the daughter of Thomas and Thirza Pattemore Martin, in Ashland, Oregon. She came to Linkville when she was one and her father built the first flour mill on Link River.
Survivors include one son, Martin Ramsey, Klamath Falls; one daughter Mrs. Theodore Gillemwaters of Grand Junction, Colorado; four grandchildren, two sisters, Maude Hosley and Mrs. Mae Anderson, Klamath Falls, two brothers Charles Martin and James Martin of Klamath Falls. The late Samuel Edward Martin was also a brother.
