Edward Sweikar, 75, of 1138 N. 15th St., Manitowoc, died Friday at home following a coronary attack.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Jens Funeral Home, Manitowoc. Members of Eagles Aerie 706 will conduct the services and cremation will follow.

Mr. Sweikar was born Nov. 5, 1893, at Manitowoc, son of the late Wencel and Mary Seidl Sweikar. He was employed for a short time with the old American Seeding Factory and then entered the Armed Forces during World War I serving as an auto mechanic in France. He married Valesta Klose Feb. 8, 1922, at Manitowoc and she preceded him in death in 1959. Mr. Sweikar was a cabinet maker with Hamilton Mfg. Co., Two Rivers, for 22 years and he retired in 1958. He was a 50-year member of the Eagles Aerie 706.

Survivors include a son, Oliver, at home; and two brothers, Stanley of Manitowoc and Paul of California. Two sisters and a brother preceded him in death.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Sunday.
