Died of pneumonia at Toulton, Oregon Nov. 5, 1918. Orren Baird, Brother in Law, went to Oregon and accompanied the bereaved wife and children and the remains of the deceased to Grantsburg.
On Aug 17, 1907 he married Rosella Baird. They homesteaded near Kreinersville and improved up on it. Later they lived in Grantsburg. In 1912 Mr. and Mrs. Abel moved to Oregon.
He leaves his wife and six small children, his mother, three brothers, and six sisters. Mrs. Abel and children are now staying at the home of her brother, Orren Baird, on Route 2, Grantsburg.
