Betty was the 2nd child born to Charles and Dorothy Jefferson Daniel. She grew up in Sparkman surrounded by the love of her younger sisters and brothers. She attended Sparkman Training School. During her early childhood Betty accepted Christ and united with the First Missionary Baptist Church family under the pastorate of Rev. G.C. Cook.
God entrusted Betty with the greated task of all; to nurture, raise, and love a little boy she named Eric. The Lord blessed Betty with sweet years before 'Eric passed into His embrace.
On Sunday, March 7, 2010 in her 58th season, Betty slipped the surly bonds of earth, trading time for eternity in the presence of the Lord She was welcomed home by her father, brother Charles Edward, Sisters Lou Ida, Renetta, Shirley her beloved and only son Eric.
