Marcella was born Sept. 23, 1924, in Springfield, Ill., to Martin F. and Julia (Reichert) Kelly. She married Ernest E. "Bud" Rhoades on Oct. 4, 1947, in Springfield, Ill. He died Sept. 15, 1955, at age 32. She then married Paul L. "Andy" Anderson on Dec. 10, 1960. He died Oct. 16, 1998.
Surviving are two sons, John M. Rhoades and Robert D. (Sandra) Rhoades, both of Washington; daughter, Kristine K. (Edwin) Page of Cary, N.C.; stepdaughter, Paula Templeton of Peoria; several grandchildren; and one sister, Eileen Anderson of Rockford, Ill.
One daughter, Janet M. (Steven) Sluyter of Algoma, Wis., preceded her in death.
Marcella was employed in accounting at Illinois Bell Telephone in Springfield. After moving to Terre Haute, Ind., she was secretary to Dr. Glenn Mory of Glas-Col Manufacturing Company.
Marcella was extremely fond of all of the nurses, aides and staff at the Apostolic Christian Home.
Cremation rites have been accorded through Deiters Funeral Home & Crematory in Washington. Inurnment of cremated remains will take place in Calvary Cemetery in Springfield, Ill.
Memorials can be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
