Denis "Stan" STAINTHORP passed away peacefully at the age of 87 years. He was predeceased by his loving wife Lydia in 2003; his parents William Gordon and Violet STAINTHORP and one sister Joan HENSON. Family and Friends gathered for a time of Visitation on Thursday, February 18, 2010 7:00 p.m. at Parkland Funeral Chapel, 3502 - 44 Avenue, Stony Plain. A Funeral Service was held on Friday, February 19, 2010 1:00 p.m. from Parkland Funeral Chapel, Pastor [name omitted] officiated. Interment followed. If friends desire, Memorial Tributes may be made in Denis' name to Unit 9Y Mel Miller Hospice, Edmonton General Hospital, 11111 Jasper Avenue NW, Edmonton, AB T5K 0L4. Parkland Funeral Services of Stony Plain took care of arrangements.
