Mrs. Clara Haskins
Mrs Clara Haskins died at the home of her son, Robert Haskins, in the village of Middlefield, Friday morning, September 1, 1916. Her death was
chiefly due to the infirmities of age.
She was born June 16, 1834, and had
been a resident of Middlefield for many
years. She was a woman of upright
Christian character, a kind, sympathizing
friend, and a devoted mother. She
is survived by two sons, Robert and
Willis, both of Middlefield and one
granddaughter, Mrs. Addison Boom, of
Cooperstown. The funeral services were
held from her late home, Sunday at
2 p. m., the Rev. S. S. Robbins, pastor
of the Methodist Episcopal church, of
which she was a faithful member, officiating.
Burial a t Westville. The floral
offerings were many and beautiful.—
