Burial took place in the Fosterdale Cemetery Tuesday under the direction of Undertaker Brand, and Rev Reynolds.
Native of Switzerland and was an early resident of this section and was a blacksmith until he succeeded by his son Rudolph.
Leaves 4 sons and 2 daughters - George of Susquehanna, John who was a detective on the O & W RR stationed at Cadosia; Rudolph and Charles of Fosterdale; Mrs Henry Bellis of Jersey City and Mrs George Edelman at the old home in Fosterdale.
Also leaves a brother John at Scranton
