Pneumonia complications which developed after whooping cough caused the death in the Cushing hospital Friday of Thomas Beeson, 10-month-old son of Cpl. And Mrs. Darrel Beeson of Washta, following a short illness.
Born at Oelwein, Iowa, January 6, 1944, Thomas is survived by his father serving with the armed forces in Hawaii, his mother, a sister, Patricia Ann, and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Beeson of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Dessel, residing at Washta. The body was taken Sunday evening to the Paul Beeson home at Washta, and at 10 a.m. Monday funeral services were conducted in St. Mary's Catholic Church at Mapleton by Rev. Father Ocken, with burial in the parish cemetery there under direction of Hudgel's Funeral Home of Anthon.
