Hamilton Black a long time resident of Bay City, died this morning at Mercy Hospital after a lingering illness. He had been making his home with his sister, Miss Clara Black, 108 McEwan St. Born in Ypsilanti, Dec 5, 1862, he was a member of the Knights of Pythias and is survived by four brothers, Albert and Frank of Pomona, California, and Sidney and Fred, both of Bay City; two sisters, Mrs. Jane Harris and Miss Clara Black; several nieces and nephews. The body is at the Vallender Funeral home. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
