Albert Lee Cope
Albert Lee Cope, 19, of 124 Agnew Road was fatally injured near Gaffney in a two-truck accident at 5:40 am yesterday.
Born in Greenville, Nov. 30, 1945, he was the son of Ansel Lee Cope and Mrs. Jewell Swanger Cope Burgess. He attended Westville High School. He was employed by the Industrial Maintainance Co. here.
Surviving also are a step-sister, Mrs. Millie Ann Pangle of Greenville; two half-sisters, Miss Linda Burgess and Miss Wanda Burgess of Greenville, and his grandmother, Mrs. Ethel M. Cope of Greenville.
Funeral service will be conducted by Rev. Frank Sanders and Rev. Ray Burnett at Agnew Road Baptist Church at 5 pm today.
Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Kennedy, Johnny Swanger, Jackie Thacker, Rickey Allen, Beauford Doer and Jerry Wade.
The body is at the home.
