He was an Army veteran of World War II and he was employed at Wayne Circuits in Yorkville.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Wilson, whom he married on September 6, 1945; three daughters, Bonnie Cristello of Venice, Florida, Barbara (Butch) Anthenat of Plano, Illiois, and Connie (Scott) Holdiman of Sandwich; one son, Robert (Maria) Wilson of Sandwich; eight grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; his mother, Elsie (Seidelman) Wilson of Sandwich; one brother, LeRoy (Beverly) Wilson of Sandwich; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, William M. Wilson; an infant brother, Donald Wilson; and an infant grandson, Terry William.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm on Saturday, February 16, 1991 at the Larson Funeral Home in Plano. The Reverend John W. Davis will officiate. Interment will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery in Sandwich, Illinois.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 pm Friday, February 15, at the funeral home.
