Funeral services were held on Saturday, Sept. 23, 2000 at 9 a.m. officiated by Rev. Lazaro Uribe of First Assembly of God in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Avenue.
Committal services and interment followed in the Veteran's Section of the Laredo City Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Jorge Mata,
Daniel E. Rodriguez, Roberto Valdez Jr., Arnulfo Valdez, Roberto Valdez, Jessus Mata Jr., Jesus Mata and Leonardo Lopez.
