Uncle Frank was born on the homestead in Casheloogry, County Donegal, Ireland.

Uncle Frank came to the US, arrived in NY Nov. 16, 1915. He arrived with his brother Patrick Gallagher, going to their other brother Edward Gallagher already here. They also came with a couple friends James Boyle and Mike McGinley, also from Ireland. (I have copies of ships lists saved on my computer)

They left Ireland port of Glasgow, on the ship California. Their Brothers Michael (my dad) and Uncle Eddie had already arrived in NY on Nov. 17,1912. They went to Rose Burke's, (a cousin) house in NY. (I have copies of ships manifests saved on my computer)

Rose Burke, arrived in NY, Oct. 29, 1906 and had went to her sister, Mary Burke Tynan's house. By the time Uncle Frank and Uncle Patrick arrived Rose had moved on to Butte, Montana and had married Patrick Meehan. (I have copies Rose's ship manifest also saved on my computer)

My dad Michael and Uncle Frank came to Butte, then farmed and homesteaded in Charlo, Montana. Uncles Eddie, Patrick and Willie all settled in NY area. (Uncle Patrick settled NJ)

Uncle Frank served in WWI. Married Aunt Mabel in Butte, MT, 1924. Then settled next to my dad Mike in Charlo, MT. Uncle Frank and Aunt Mabel had 13 children and my dad Mike and mom Helen had 12 children.
