Athena Spetsas loved her family and had a great love for people as well as the animals. She always showed much kindness and compassion even in her times of difficulty.

Burial site is at the Valley View Memorial Park in West Valley City, Utah. It is located on Olympia Way. The street was named after her death and it is the only Greek street name in the park. She would have loved being laid to rest on a Greek site.
