Venatta Edith (Wolfe) Reames - Carson City, NV - 90 years of age. On March 26, 2010 Venatta died after suffering a long illness, in Carson City, NV. She was born to James A. and Edith Wolfe on March 19, 1920, in Roseburg, Sanilac County, MI, and had lived in Port Huron until 1976, when she moved to Carson City, NV, and she has lived there until her death.
She is survived by her daughter, V.Louise Fowle of Carson City, NV; her son, Daniel W. Hutchinson, Jr. of Hannoford, ND; a brother James Dee Wolfe of Pueblo, CO; stepchildren, Walt Grattan, Jr., of Ridgecrest, CA, and Betty Grattan of Port Huron, MI. She is survived by her grandchildren, Edith Chivers, Donna Stewart, John Chivers, Wanda Green, Lynn Fournie, David Chivers, Rebecca Reyes, Mike Lester, Daniel Hutchinson III, Tina Severson, Cheryl Kelly, Ron Hutchinson, Maleena Geerhart, Donald Dortman, Dean Dortman and Dale Bearden; 42 great-grandchildren; 35 great-great-grandchildren; step grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews and close friends.
She was proceded in death by her husbands, Glen R. Reames in 2009, Walt Grattan in 1972, and Daniel W. Hutchinson in 1945; daughters, Beverly A. Chivers in 1990 and Kristina M. Hutchinson in 1942; and also 2 great-great-granddaughters.
She belonged to the Eagles, American Legion and the VFW.
Cremation has been arranged by Fitzhenry's Funeral Home of Carson City, NV, and a memorial service will be held at a later date in Port Huron, MI.
